AI for Sustainability
Date: 18 June 2026
Room: CB31A
Chairs: Francesco Scarcello (UniCal), Roberta Calegari (UniBo)
Description
The AI for Sustainability workshop explores how artificial intelligence can contribute to ecological transition and sustainable development by enabling more efficient resource management. The focus is on applications in environmental monitoring, energy systems, smart agriculture, sustainable cities, and circular economy. The workshop also considers the environmental impact of AI technologies themselves and their role in supporting sustainable development models.
